Howdy

Same goal here. more than than 5000 movies. Updated from Kodi 16 > 17.
a lot of posters/fanarts doesn't evidence upward, and at beginning glance information technology concerns old scrapped files. Trouble is in all peel.
each movie is in a split binder, and in the folder in that location are the ordinarily extrafanart (extras show up, trouble is only with basic affiche/fanart), and of course local poster/fanart pictures)
Deleting Texture13 and thumbnails didn't solved anything.
importing single file library keeps the problem.
importing through sources, with local information scraping, same problem.

I gauge there are some issues in the old NFO's.
I don't want to rescrape online all five'000 movies, information technology would be a nightmare to command everything.
the solution then far I found is to refresh manually such problematic movies, or manually select local files when the data is not retrieved (unreachable scraper)

I hesitated to bulk delete all NFOs, then export library as split up files to create new ones, only I don't know if it will work and it may be a bit risky

Please tell me if you find a solution

There is a known solution to that: backups.

By the way, I edited your signature and removed the bottom URL. Lawn tennis is not actually Kodi related. We also have a 4-line maximum for signatures on this forum.

I thought nearly doing a bulk smart renaming off all NFO, with some renaming util, lets' say renaming 30.nfo to thirty.nfobackup. This mode Kodi won't be able to read them and I tin can practise some test, and if something gets wrong, I can rename them back .nfo.

My question is are your file load into kod'south li rary correctly? If and so merely do a export libray to separate files and allow for it to over write.

I am not sure if nosotros are talking near TMM or Kodi here. Can y'all clarify?

As far as I can see the in a higher place is your problem. Then are we talking virtually visibility in TMM or in Kodi? It sounds like Kodi, merely not sure why yous are in TMM, considering if you used TMM, then you would have local artwork and Kodi would notice information technology.

Practise yous have local artwork? Post one of your NFO files to Kodi Paste Site and lets have a look. If you used TMM, you most likely won't have artwork links.

If yous library is already lacking, and so deleting the original NFO Files and exporting from Kodi, will give you the aforementioned NFO Files (but in a slightly different format), so yous won't achieve anything.

@Karrelen thank you very much for your time and answer. I don't want to waste material your fourth dimension right now, first I endeavour something. I'll mail NFO later if necessary.

oops lamentable yes the visibility problem is in Kodi, not in TMM distressing, I landed there by searching answer about deleting NFO and didn't pay attending to the thread'south location!

Well I am currently trying to use Artwork beefiness to strength import all local posters/fanarts in the db once again (long process with so many movies), we'll see the result (failed with AW Downloader). And I saw that it has a function to pre-enshroud pictures in Kodi'due south Library I'll endeavour this for sure.

All my movies take correct infos, with just maybe 20-thirty% of them with missing affiche/fanart. Simply all artworks are in local folders. if I manage to update the library with the local paths, then exporting it will generate new correct NFOs and the enshroud volition point to local urls.

Problem solved, for all movies & TV shows.
Artwork Downloader had managed to import all local actress artworks after the importation of the library Kodi 16 > 17 but failed with a lot of posters/fanart, even afterwards multiple tries and settings.
Artwork Beef succeeded (with settings: don't download artworks just only apply local / Recognize Artwork Downloader files). I tried using pre-enshroud then, but the report said it had pre-buried only a few then I guess the initial strength feeding of library already cached the files).
